Supported printers

BendiStudio drives HP Latex printers directly. For Epson, Roland, Mimaki and Canon we are in beta phase 1: the app can already see the printer (status, ink levels) and record your existing RIP's print stream through a passthrough, and our support team uses that to build and verify the driver for your machine together with you.

Beta disclaimer. Printers in the capture-supported tier require manual setup with the BendiRip support team during beta testing phase 1. Until your driver is delivered you keep printing from your current RIP; nothing about your production changes. Add a Device in the app, choose “My printer is not listed”, and follow the wizard — the test prints it asks for are what we need.

Not yet supported

These printers use HP’s newer EH-PDL job language, which is different from the 300/500-series raster BendiStudio sends today. The app recognises them and disables sending so nothing is damaged. If you own one, run the Capture wizard with your current RIP — the recordings are what we need to add native support.

Capture-supported (beta phase 1)

BendiRip can read status and ink over SNMP and record what your current RIP sends to the printer. Add a Device → “My printer is not listed” walks you through the passthrough and a set of test prints; our support team then builds the driver for your printer with you. Manual setup with support is required during this beta phase.
